顺便说一句,我们也在深入开发游戏内的模组浏览器,希望未来几个月内能有所成果,让玩家只需一键点击就能尝试这些模组!同时,大量模组兼容性方面的工作也在推进中,兼顾模组作者和玩家。包括共享源码、更好的版本管理、文档、改进等等。

除此之外,随着即将推出的好友列表和服务器列表,整个平台将非常便于与朋友轻松分享模组/世界!

而在所有这些工作进行的同时,团队的大部分成员仍在处理引擎改动、渲染、冒险模式、漏洞修复等等。幕后有很多事情在发生。
如此大规模的改造需要时间,但开发进展非常顺利,甚至快到难以一一记录!最近几周我们迎来了几位关键成员加入团队,我可能很快会发布一篇更宏观的愿景文章,让大家了解我们未来的方向!

Excited to see the winners on this one! As I've mentioned before, we'll be watching closely for hiring purposes. In the coming weeks, we'll review every mod that did well and reach out to creators to see if they are interested in joining us!

We're actively looking for great world designers, NPC devs, gameplay engineers, and more, so this contest lines up perfectly for the community and for us.

My plan for growing the Hytale team is to mostly hire from the community. If you're a modder, your chances are high. It's that simple. I don't really care about your degrees, and I don't care if you worked at a triple-A studio or not. I care about the work, the craft, and the passion. And being a Hytale modder specifically means a lot: it shows you already understand the game's vision and potential, which is a big plus.

BTW, we're also deep on the in-game modding browser and hope to have something out in the coming months, so players can try any of these mods with a simple 1-click install! A lot of modding compatibility work is landing alongside it, for both modders and players. Shared source, better versioning, documentation, improvements, and much more.

On top of that, with the upcoming friend and server lists, everything is shaping up to be a great platform for easily sharing mods/worlds with friends!

And while all of that is going on, a large part of the team is still working on engine changes, rendering, adventure mode, bug fixes, and so on. A lot is happening in the background.
A rework at this scale takes time, but production is going very well; it's even hard to keep track! I'll probably put out a bigger vision post soon, now that we've brought some key people onto the team in the past few weeks, so you can see where we're going with all of this!
