@Simon_Hypixel @Propzie 好奇问下，Hytale 里准星旁边那个小箭头是什么意思？
它好像只在用斧头/锤子这类大型双手武器时出现，但我一直没搞懂它出现的具体规律

那是下次挥击的方向指示器！可以通过按住移动方向键来控制——比如视频里 Simon 按住键盘的"D"键，就表示下一击会从左向右挥动。如果按住"S"后退键，就会变成上挑攻击:)

还有个问题：物品栏左边显示的盾牌标志，按 Z 键会切换成持盾状态来增强防御吗？
盾牌有猛击或击晕动作吗？还是说只是某种装备切换功能？

Z 键槽位的盾牌图标仅在装备兼容武器时才生效，比如手持双手钉锤时，盾牌只是存放在那里。长按Z键会唤出环形菜单（译注：可能会用来切换备用道具？）。
单独持盾或搭配剑等兼容武器时，在格挡状态下可以触发盾牌猛击动作。

It only seems to appear axes/hammer, large 2 hand type weapons. But I can't seem to find a consitent 'reason' it appears

It's next swing direction! It's controllable by holding movement direction; so for this example Simon is holding "D" on the keyboard to tell the next swing to be a left to right swing. If you hold "S" to go backwards, you do an uppercut :)

My only lingering question is about the Shield shown to the left of the hotbar. What happens when you press Z, does it swap to it for maximum defensive capabilities?
Do shields have a bash/stun move at all? Or is it for some kind of loadout swap

The shield item in Z slot is only active with compatible gear, so it's just stored there when holding something 2h, like the Mace. If you hold Z it brings up a radial menu.
A shield on its own or paired with compatible gear, like a sword, gives you a shield bash option on block.
