你认为,从长远来看,新引擎的某些部分能否以某种方式移植到长期维护的旧引擎版本中?(尽管两个引擎的编程语言不同)
我主要的关注点,在于光照系统。它在旧版本中看起来不错,而在新引擎中的几张截图中,看起来更加出色。

现在已经修复了这个问题,可以赶得上抢先体验版发布。
不需要新的引擎,大概需要约64行代码就可以进行临时的修复。目前来说已经足够了。

如果你重新翻看了16分钟的实机演示——尤其是在地下的丛林场景中:你会发现到处都是硬光照的问题。我们的艺术家们对这个问题可是十分的恼火。
现在它们消失了。我们先让(游戏)存在,然后再逐步让它变好,在未来让游戏变得完美。我迫不及待地想看到我们的渲染团队寻找一个完美的解决方案,来让这方块游戏在各个平台上都带来如此的精美程度。

Do you think some part of the new engine can be in some way backported to the old engine in the long-term ?(despite the different langage)I'm mainly thinking about the lightning system which looked good in the old,and REALLY good in the few screenshot we got from the new engine.

This is now fixed in time for early access.Didn't require a new engine, just ~64 lines of code for a temp fix that is good enough for now.

The engine ain't perfect but the developers on the team are incredibly creative and skilled in their craft to find solutions where they are needed.If you rewatch the 16 minute of gameplay - especially in the underground jungle: You see these hard lighting issues everywhere. Our artists were incredibly annoyed by this issue.Now it's gone. We make it exist, then we make it good and in the future we make it perfect. I can't wait for our rendering team to find the long-term perfect solution that brings this level of block game beauty to every platform 🥰
