顺便说一下,我们之所以尽快推送这个,是因为我们在制作第二版世界生成时发现缺少了一些方块变种,而且我们正好有个比赛在进行,所以觉得越早推出越好。
其中很多方块其实在抢先体验上线前就被移除了,要么是因为视觉效果或配置有问题,要么就是单纯丢失在了某个分支里。

玻璃目前存在渲染限制,不过我们有新的渲染技术开发人员加入了,而且之后还会有人加入,我们的团队正在壮大,这样在不久的将来我们就能做一些有趣的事情了 :)

小地图实现起来很简单,但我不确定加入小地图是否是个好主意,有利有弊吧。
至于大地图,以后会改进的,但现在还不值得花开发时间,我们目前有更紧迫的事情需要先处理/修复。

整个游戏都需要大幅改进。过去几周我一直在积极招聘,扩大生产规模,并做出了很多决策。

Lots of new blocks coming to Hytale in tomorrow's pre-release
FYI we pushed this ASAP because we had a few missing blocks variants while working on world gen 2 and we also got a contest going on so we figured sooner the better
a lot of these blocks were cut from the game before early access as they were broken visually or config wise, or simply lost in a random branch

That is insane to hear about 200+ new blocks being added in tomorrow’s pre-release is insane. I really do hope cross my fingers couple of them is stained glass blocks and glass panes and stained glass blocks and stained glass panes please

Glass is actually a rendering limitation atm, but we got new rendering devs that joined and will be joining us, growing our team so we can do some fun stuff in the near future :)

Hey Simon, what good are 400 blocks when we have weapons that still don’t have damage stats and the sky in zone 1 still doesn’t know if it’s raining, sunny, and the clouds dissipate after 2 steps?

Because it’s unrelated and involves different team members.
Need to push blocks FAST while we work on world gen 2, it’s literally holding back the progress of the entire level design.

Simon, hi. I know this is unrelated, but I'd like to know your thoughts on Hytale's decline in recent months. Do you think it's temporary, and if so, what will you do to bring Hytale back into the spotlight? I believe Hytale will regain popularity with major updates.

Does not matter for the long-term health of the game; we have enough funding to finish the real Hytale vision, and then we will see a massive surge of players when we hit some big milestones. The game feels very far behind right now; people have no idea how much it will change for the better. Just need to keep rolling out updates non-stop and not get distracted, which we are doing a good job at. I still have taken 0 $ from Hytale. I keep growing the team and accelerating production.
We are putting $0 in marketing, and not even sending emails right now. We are working on major changes to the game and will start pushing hard later on. Incredible things are coming.

What about the mini map and the map in general? I wanted to know if one day we will have that trailer map in 3D and with the correct scale like the trailer back, it seems better to me than what we currently have.

Minimap is easy to implement, but not sure if its a good idea to do a minimap, pros and cons.
As for the map, it will improve later on, but not worth dev time at this moment, we got pressing things to fix/do beforehand

The whole game needs massive improvements. I have been aggressively hiring, scaling production, and making lots of decisions over the past few weeks

I could easily make endgame content and make the game “better” short term, but would rather focus on reworking the games foundation now and execute the big plan, the long term is worth it
