我们正在完成世界生成器 V2(World Gen V2)的博客文章,预计今天或明天准备就绪,最晚将于下周二[1]发布。
鉴于游戏将在 10 天后正式上线,目前工作节奏较为紧张,博客发布时间可能略有偏差。感谢各位的耐心等待!

看到部分评论后,我觉得有必要帮助大家调整一下新博客的期待!
这篇关于世界生成器 V2 的博客将主要聚焦于生成技术、开发工具及原型示例,以展示该系统的能力与实现原理。目前尚未用其生成大量完整的 Orbis(奥比斯)世界内容,因此请不要期待看到实际游戏世界的大量截图或视频——我们仅有有限的时间,制作了少量的、尚未完成的生物群系。
好消息是,新系统的设计目标正是在赋予我们更高控制权的同时,大幅提升内容创作效率。
博客中将包含大量截图、视频片段和文字说明。若只关注视觉效果,可能难以理解此次升级的重要意义。
在外行看来,这或许不算什么突破。但对于“能看懂门道”的人,这将是一次重要的进展。
我在博客文末添加了个人说明,以帮助大家更好地理解。

We’re finishing up the World Gen V2 blog post now. It should be ready today or tomorrow, and will go live by Monday at the latest.
With the release coming up in 10 days, things are a bit hectic, so blog ETAs may shift slightly. Thanks for your patience!
I feel like I have to temper expectations after seeing some comments!
The World Gen V2 blog will focus mainly on the generation tech, tools and prototype examples to showcase what it can do and how. There isn’t much finished Orbis world content for it yet, so don't expect major screenshots/clips of the actual world! We only had time to make a few biomes, all of which are unfinished.
The good news is that it's designed to enable much faster content creation while giving us greater control.
There will be a lot of screenshots, clips and text. If you only look at the visuals, you will not understand the scope of why this is a big step.
To the untrained eye, it won't seem like a big deal. However, for those "who get it", it will be.
I added my personal note at the end of the blogpost so that people can understand better.
